Aether ("we", "our", "the app") is a gamified task management application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

  • Account information: Email address, used for authentication via Supabase.
  • Task data: Tasks you create, including titles, priorities, tags, due dates, and completion status.
  • Progress data: Skill levels, XP, streaks, and other gamification metrics.

How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and maintain the app functionality.
  • To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
  • To sync your tasks and progress across devices.
  • Task text is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for natural language parsing. This data is not stored by Anthropic beyond the API request.

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption. Data is stored in cloud servers and is associated with your authenticated account.

Third-Party Services

  • Supabase: Authentication and database hosting.
  • Anthropic (Claude API): Natural language task parsing. Task text is processed but not retained.
  • Vercel: Application hosting.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is only shared with the third-party services listed above as necessary to provide app functionality.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Aether is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
